POLICE are appealing for information into the theft of a car from outside an Echuca takeaway store this morning.

Detective Senior Constable Troy Wickham of Echuca Criminal Investigation Unit said the white Ford Falcon sedan was stolen while the owner left running as he ducked into Molloy’s Takeaway, on the corner of Hare St and Ogilvie Ave, at 5am.
The vehicle is NSW registered CJP18V.
Police are also investigating the theft of an old cast iron farm gate from Wharparilla overnight Monday.
Det. Snr Constable Wickham said the HV McKay Sunshine gate was valued at $1200.
“We’re reminding landowners to be vigilant of suspicious activity and aware of what’s going on around them,” he said.
