AFTER 34 years in Rotary, Moama’s Alan Hawken has received the Paul Harris Fellow award, Rotary’s highest recognition.
Mr Hawken was presented with the award at his home on April 21 from fellow representatives of the Echuca-Moama Rotary Club, in front of his family and friends.
Alan’s time in Rotary began 34 years ago, first at Warrnambool East, then Ballarat West and finally the last six years at Echuca Moama Rotary Club.
Alan fulfilled 2017-2018 as president and at present is the immediate past president.
During his Rotary years, Alan filled many positions in the clubs, working diligently for the betterment of our local community and the wider world and involving himself in the many programs Rotary offers.
