The event, coordinated by Tomorrow Today in partnership with Valley Sport, will be held at Benalla’s Churchill Reserve on Sunday, March 24, between 10am and 1pm.
Sports and community groups featured will include archery, Astronomy Benalla, Auskick, badminton, baseball, basketball, Benalla Leo Club, hockey, Benalla City Squadron Australian Airforce Cadets, netball, soccer, and yoga.
‘‘A terrific range of local sports and recreation clubs will be offering exciting activities for young people to try out,’’ Tomorrow Today executive officer Pat Claridge said.
‘‘This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to sample some of the fun and enjoyable activities that Benalla has to offer.
‘‘Families experiencing financial difficulties can also get information on funding available from Tomorrow Today to help with fees and registrations.’’
Families will have the chance to talk to club representatives about memberships and programs, and Tomorrow Today and Valley Sport will provide information on volunteering opportunities for parents and family members.
As an added attraction there will be a free sausage sizzle.
