The excitement is building to fever pitch as the cast, band and crew of Benalla Theatre Company’s production of Robin the Hood prepares for its opening weekend — Friday, May 24.
The production is a comedy that follows Robin the Hood (Jamie Boatwood), as he works to save not only Sherwood Forest, but his beloved Maid Marian (Monique Hillenaar) from the evil clutches of King John (Pat Elliott) and the Sheriff of Snottingham (Jim Tullberg).
The quartet, along with the rest of the cast, have been enjoying rehearsals with plenty of hard work and laughs along the way.
There are seven performances of Robin the Hood from May 24 to June 1.
Evening performances are cabaret table seating with BYO drinks and nibbles, and matinee performances are traditional theatre seating.

Tickets will also be available at the door before each performance subject to availability.
