Corowa Market was held on Monday 15 July with 7,850 lambs yarded with a decrease of 1,830 from the previous week, and 1,560 sheep yarded with a decrease of 1,520.

Significant rain over the supply area, and numbers becoming scarce, resulted in agents penning over 3,000 less sheep and lambs than last week.
Quality was generally very good with some excellent supplementary fed trade lambs offered.
All regular buyers were present, but not operated fully, with one export processor not participating in the lamb run.
All domestic processors were keen to fill orders, with some further price lifts across this category.
Medium and heavy trade lambs were well sort after, with increases of $6 to $13, making from $201 to $248/head, reaching up to 1,086c/kg cwt.
Processors outbid the restocker and feedlot buyers in light lamb category, with MK bag lamb making from $159 to $177, lifting $3/head.
Lambs going to feed and restocker were receiving from $100 to $190/head.
Good conditioned heavy lambs suiting the export and domestic market made from $252 to $275, lifting $4/head, averaging 1,019c/kg cwt.
Very few export lambs were presented, with only one pen of extra heavies on offer.
The extra heavy export lambs sold from $265 to $288, with the over 30kg lambs reaching $338/head, making 982c/kg cwt.
Overall it was a good quality yarding of mutton selling in a dearer market across all weights and grades.
Good heavy 4 score merino ewes were making from $178 to $229, with the best of the crossbred 4 score ewes making from $219, lifting $7/head to average 623c/kg cwt.
Light 2 and 3 score ewes were making from $116 to $162/head.
