A strong start to the game set the tone for the Roo girls this week against the top of the ladder team in North Albury and the girls did not let up for the whole game. The game was goal for goal the entire way through with the girls matching the opposing team on each part of the court.
Defensively the team was strong all over the court and were able to turn the ball over. The girls missed a few pivotal goals in the dying minutes and went down by 6 goals.

The second last game for the season saw the Roos come up against North Albury who are sitting fourth. Again, a tough game for the Roo girls but always up for the challenge.
The first quarter was goal for goal and they came off even, into the second quarter they continued to keep up with the fast pace of Norths attack and with only a few goals separating both teams.
It was tough in the Roos attack end with North’s defence being very physical but Eloise and Lily held their own and answered the challenge.
In the third quarter an unfortunate injury to Lily saw her come off. Tamir came into goals and put up some nice long-range goals.
In the Roo defence end, Audrey and Milly O again played a great game to help shut down their attack end.
