Rutherglen, Corowa and Wahgunyah Rowing clubs are set for the annual rowing regatta at Lake Moodemere this weekend.

There is another record level of 1,100 entries for the Murray Rowing Association’s annual regatta which starts on Saturday at 8am at the picturesque Lake Moodemere.
Clubs from around Victoria and southern New South Wales will be in attendance with over 650 rowers competing at the event.
Highlights at the regatta will be on Sunday when the Murray Rowing Association hosts the Victorian Sprint Championships for open class boats.
The sprint championships are over 500 metres and the racing over these short distances will be fast and furious.
The local clubs will be well represented, with Corowa Rowing Club looking to defend the MRA trophy between the three local clubs.
Corio Bay Rowing Club from Geelong are sending up a big contingent of over 50 rowers to defend the Redgum Shield for the most successful club at the regatta.
Racing starts at 8am on Saturday with racing every three minutes through to 6pm. Racing starts at 7am on Sunday.
Entry to the regatta is free and the venue is well catered for by the three local rowing clubs.
