That is the question being put forward by the Murray Local Land Services in an effort to determine what more is needed to help the community.
Murray LLS is encouraging all landholders to take a public survey, looking for expressions of interest for a ‘Drought drop-in’ service.
These two to three hour sessions would make district vets and agricultural experts available to talk one-on-one with farmers at local halls or other venues at locations outside the regional hubs.
The short survey asks where the public would like the service located, how far individuals might travel to access it, what sort of information people wish to be provided with and what time of day would suit.
‘‘Murray Local Land Services wants to ensure we are helping our rural communities to get through these challenging times,’’ the organisation said.
