A great line-up of fun events await attendees on Saturday in the Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens.
The fair, which will kick off at 9am, will include market stalls, a petting zoo, wicked games, jumping castle, egg and spoon races, a barbecue, raffles and lots more.
A Miss and Master Easter Fair competition will feature sections for years 2-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9–12 and Open.
Football club reps will also be on hand, selling ducks for their big day on Sunday.
Sunday’s fair focus will be on Picnic Point, the site for the annual duck race and family fun activities.
It will kick off with a barbecue, followed by the famous Pooch Parade with sections including Best Groomed, Cutest, Scruffiest, Most Like Its Owner and Dog with Best Trick.
Competitors in the duck race will take to the water around 1pm.
Make sure you pick up a duck around town from football netball club members, at the fair on Saturday or at The Point on Sunday.
They cost just $5 and could bring home $700, so get yours today.

A Memorial Service in thanksgiving for Arthur’s life will be held at Tobin Brothers Bromley Chapel, at 457 High St, Echuca, on Tuesday, April 23 at 11.30am.

Mathoura Football Netball Club experienced mixed results from its season opening encounter against Katamatite on Saturday.
Our netballers had a good day, with all but A Grade and Under 13s successful.
The reserves held the flag high for the footballers but hopefully the seniors and Under 14s will bounce back this week.
The girls and guys are on the road this weekend to take on Picola so we wish them well.
Congratulations go to local lass, Sienna Toomey, who received the Athletes Foot Award last weekend.

Don’t forget next week’s Anzac commemorations.
They will begin with a dawn service at 6am in the Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens, followed by a breakfast in the War Memorial Hall (gold coin donation).
The main service will be held in the shire hall from 11am, following which a march, led by members from a regiment of the Light Horse Brigade will proceed to the gardens for a wreath-laying ceremony at the cenotaph.
Guest speaker for both services will be Colonel Peter Davidson (retired), while students from Mathoura Public School will perform ‘True Blue’ and lay a wreath.
