Mitre 10 were too strong for Legal Eagles winning 15 sets to 10s.
Three set winners for Mitre 10 included Vicki Arentz, Rowena Jackson and Jane Thomson, while for the Eagles there was a restoration of natural order with John Henderson too skilful for Nick Metcalfe winning his three sets.
The other match had an identical scoreline with Agspares beating Peppin Planners 15 sets to 10.
Three set winners for Agspares included Michael Williams, James Sides, Anna Scott and Mary James, while for for Peppin Planners Eimear Gogarty flew the flag.
The Wednesday night competition grand final will be held on April 3 between the two teams that finish first and second after the home and away competition.
All 12 men and eight women in each side will play in the decider.
It is important to note that to be eligible to play, all membership fees must be paid by participants prior to the grand final.
The club’s annual Easter tournament is nearly upon us. The competition is one of the club’s major fundraisers.
