Upskilling for health workers

Collectively, the recipients received more than $5000 worth of training in its recent round of funding.

‘‘Given our distance from major centres, this funding supports the education of primary health care professionals in our area to help improve our healthcare services,’’ committee member Clint Flanigan said.

‘‘It’s pleasing to see such a broad range of applicants, and we hope this stimulates interest for subsequent rounds,’’ committee member Shane Weller said.

‘‘I would strongly recommend primary healthcare professionals undertaking education to consider applying.’’

■Rich River Physiotherapy - $2600
