To celebrate, it is seeking your help to capture the past 30 years through a collection of experiences and memories.
CEO and creative producer Sarah Parsons said these stories will be published in a book later in the year.
‘‘I am calling for all actors, artists, volunteers, creators and anyone else we have encountered to share what you remember with us,’’ Ms Parsons said.
‘‘This experience could have been watching a performance or being involved in that performance. Maybe you created something for us or participated in one of our workshops.
‘‘No matter how small or long your story is, how much or how little you remember, we want to hear it and we are here to listen, reminisce and explore that with you.’’
OTYP delivered its first project as an initiative of South West Arts and over the years has uniquely evolved through its engagement with the local community.
This has included running the three-year Folksong project in Berrigan Shire, until 2017.
‘‘We are uniquely placed to provide remote, rural and regional young people with access to professional arts experiences that are developed in their communities, for their communities,’’ Ms Parsons said.
‘‘We aim to raise the profile and develop support for regional young people and our objective is excellence in youth theatre.’’
She said the projects are in a creative environment, where young people have the opportunity to give voice and value to their ideas.
