Four Pigeons, Bailey Frauenfelder, Isaac McMillan, Ned Mullins and Jack Sexton have made the OMFNL U19 Interleague squad. Coach Darren Hovey announced a strong initial 43-man training squad for the upcoming AFL Victoria Worksafe Community Championship U19 match against the Morning Peninsula Football Netball League on Saturday, May 18 at Rosebud.
Last week Yarrawonga Pigeons’ Timothy MacAuley, Brandon Symes, Harrison Wheeler and Mark Whiley were chosen for the senior OMFNL Interleague 43-man training squad.
Murray Football League
A host of players from both Mulwala and Tungamah have been chosen for the Murray Football League
The Murray Football League has also chosen its initial squads of 40 to play against the Wimmera Football League on the Saturday, May 18 at Rumbalara.
Murray FL Interleague Coach Jye Warren has had a fantastic response from players wanting to play.
“While you can’t get every player you want, the overall response has been outstanding,” Warren said.
“Murray Football League players are showing a passion not seen before to represent their league.
“Coaching staff and selectors are confident that the squad announced is willing to leave no stone unturned to achieve a positive result for the League and its supporters.”
The day will also feature Under 18 football as well as four grades of netball.
Netball commences at 11am with the Under 18 football kicking off at 12 noon.

Seniors
Mulwala: Hamish Hosking, Jackson Gash.
Tungamah: Bodhi Butts, Ashley Saunders.
Under 18
Mulwala: Lachlan Wood, Brock Conway, Zac Scott, Liam Martin, Josh Ednie
Tungamah: Wally Thomson, Will Sharp
Both squads will train on Wednesday, May 8 at Numurkah - Under 18s at 5.45pm - Seniors at 6pm.
