THE winner of Tuesday’s stableford was Kris Mueck who scored 38-points with Shane Morris the runner-up with 37-points.
While it was great to see the rain on Wednesday, the ladies’ competition had to be cancelled as a result.
Thursday’s competition was won by John Dobie with a great 40-points off a handicap of 23.
Balls were won by Roy Williams 39, Brian Davis 39, Matt Biddy 37 and Andee Davison 36.
Andee also won nearest the pin on the 18th hole.
Garry Boyes scored a birdie on the 13th hole while Tony Hunter did the same on the 2nd. Ron Blachford scored a par on the 18th.
On Saturday the ladies played a stableford with Tristen Wearne winning scoring 33-points off a handicap of 7.
Daphne Hall was the runner-up with 29-points off a handicap of 43 after a count-back from Margaret Sims with 29 off 32 and Stephanie Wearne with 29 off 2.
A warm welcome was extended to Kay Barcelon from Patterson River who was sizing up the course in preparation for the seniors event the following day.
Saturday’s men’s competition was the qualifying knockout for the men’s pairs with John Dobie and Ron Blachford winning the day.
Nearest the pins went to visitors A Beriman on the 16th; T Woolley in A grade on the 18th; and Mick Chilcott in C grade on the 18th.
Adrian Goudie scored a birdie on the 8th hole.
