The more than 30-strong brass band has toured interstate and abroad, playing to crowds of more than 10,000.
Although crowds may be a little smaller here, Kyabram Salvation Army Captain Taryn Singer said the church was hoping to draw in families and friends from the community.
‘‘The concert will be a mix of Christian and secular music so we really will have something for everyone. We are lucky to have a band of this calibre in town and I encourage anyone who enjoys music to come along,’’ she said.
The band members are all volunteers and all members of the Salvation Army. It’s a much-loved institution which has been around since 1880.
‘‘The band members are all passionate about musical education and have travelled to places like Africa to deliver musical instruments and teach people the power of music,’’ Ms Singer said.
The band’s Kyabram visit coincides with a concert with singer Silvie Paladino in Shepparton on April 13.
Both Kyabram concerts are free and will be performed on Sunday.
At 10.30am the band will lead worship at the Kyabram Salvation Army (22 Unitt St), and at 2pm will provide a free concert at Living Waters Church Kyabram (60 Alan St).
