CAKES, slices and cups of tea were the order of the day at St Patrick’s Primary School in Tongala on Friday.
The annual and highly anticipated high tea attracted more than 100 from the St Pat’s extended community, including past students.
A new turf surface for the school’s basketball court will be funded with the money raised.
Guests included Catholic Education director Paul Desmond, St Joseph’s College Echuca principal Michael Delaney and Campaspe councillor Neil Pankhurst.
Principal Katrina Johnson said the tea was a success and thanked all those who made it happen.
‘‘We love opening our doors to the community and showing them what St Patrick’s is all about. It’s great to have past students here and community members who have helped make our school one to be proud of,’’ she said.
