THE Little Athletics Victoria State Championships were held in Melbourne at Casey Fields Athletics Track on March 16 and 17.

Team Kyabram consisted of Ava Pell (Under 11), Lucas Kell (Under 14) and Chloe Kell and Brayden Hall in the Under 16 division. This was Chloe and Brayden’s final state championships as Little Athletics finishes at the Under 16 level.
Some wonderful results were achieved by our athletes who competed against the best athletes in the state.
Results:
Ava Pell: 200m 17th.
Lucas Kell: Shotput 18th; Javelin: 19th
Chloe Kell: 100m 11th; 200m 11th; 400m: 7th; Javelin 7th
Brayden Hall: 100m 6th; 200m 4th; Long jump 7th
Chloe and Brayden now have their eyes set firmly on their next event.
Both Chloe and Brayden will be heading to Stawell to compete in the Stawell Gift, which is held annually over Easter.
Both athletes will be competing in the 100m and 400m.
This will be a great opportunity for Chloe and Brayden to finish their Little Athletics journey by competing in one of the most highly regarded foot races in Australia.
