Make sure you get your tickets to support the Breathe Easy cocktail partyBy Riverine Herald
THE Breathe Easy cocktail party will be held on September 8 at Radcliffe’s.
General admission tickets are $115 per person and includes music by Square 1 Entertainment, finger food, drinks, prizes and a silent auction.
Premium tickets are $135pp and include general admission plus a paddlesteamer cruise aboard the Pride of the Murray, leaving the Port of Echuca Wharf at 6pm – drinks and canapes provided. The event was established by Shari Butcher in 2015 as a platform to raise awareness and funds for CF research, the most common life threatening genetic condition in Australia — Shari lives with the condition that currently has no known cure. She said 100 per cent of the proceeds go to the Alfred Foundation, Royal Children’s Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust and Cystic Fibrosis Community Care.
“Since its inception, Breathe Easy has held various functions including cocktail parties and golf days within the Echuca-Moama community and raised more than $80,000 for research and people currently living with CF,” Shari said.
“We will continue to provide support and raise funds and awareness for these wonderful organisations however it would not be possible without help from the community, support networks connected to CF and the wonderful businesses both locally in Echuca-Moama, and within Melbourne who support us year after year.”
Shari said special thanks for the party this year must go to Murray River Paddlesteamers and Radcliffe’s.
