Chaplaincy service has turned 35

By Riverine Herald

AN ENTHUSIATIC crowd gathered at the Anglican Hall to support Chaplaincy for its 35th anniversary.

Minute Chef served a hearty meal and president Helen Jakabi welcomed everyone. Sensational entertainment was delivered by Tyrone Holmes from Echuca Specialist School who sang and played the guitar and ukulele.

Principal of Echuca Specialist School Paul Marshall spoke of the importance of chaplaincy and what it brings to students, families and staff in a school community. Jenny Sudholtz baked and decorated an exquisite cake.

Pastor Rob Wiltshire of Epicentre Church took the floor as an auctioneer in what was very lively bidding for the numerous items. In the finish, $1000 was raised in the auction.

The event was a great chance for committee members over the years, family, friends and neighbours to get together and reminisce about their shared experiences.
