Kids from ages six to 14 tied their sneakers and geared up for activities that were guaranteed to wear them out.
Max Ogilvie of FITmob said the sessions are a way of keeping kids active and to have a bit of fun.
‘‘We want to give everyone a go, whether they’re sick or healthy, we want to show they can stay fit and healthy,’’ he said.
‘‘It’s not about how fit you are and how much you can run, it’s about what you can do and basically just socialising as well.’’
Nine-year old Bobby Elliott said the tackle wars were his favourite activity.
‘‘We did tackle wars, which were really fun. We tried to pull the rope and the person who falls down loses, but we kept winning and it was good,’’ he said.
Between sprints and runs, bear crawls and even tug of war, FITmob kept the kids moving and on their toes.
There is a session being held on Thursday from 9:15am until 10am and you’re still able to sign your kids up.
Registration is $10 per child with all proceeds going to the Good Friday Appeal.
