The event proved so popular, people were lining up outside to snatch up a copy of the book and catch a glimpse of the art exhibition by illustrator Briony Stewart.
Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh officially launched the book, which was followed by an interview with Fleur and Briony before the highly commended recipients and winners of the illustration competition (judged by Briony) were announced.
Winners included Stella Munro of Ouyen P-12 College (prep); Paige of Echuca East Primary School (grade 1); Jaxon of Echuca East (grade 2); Max of Echuca East (grade 3); Darby of Echuca East (grade 4); Tia Ferris of MAGS (grade 5) and Cara Haley of MAGS (grade 6).
About 120 copies of the book were sold on the night, with more available at Collins Bookstore.
