A MAN will face court today over a robbery at an Echuca music store yesterday.

The 25-year-old Echuca man allegedly entered Sanity in Hare St about 3pm and approached a 21-year-old female shop assistant before making a demand for money.
Detective Sergeant Brendon Murphy of Echuca Criminal Investigation Unit said the man then went around to the register and stole an amount of money.
‘‘He’s then left there and gone to a Sutton St residence and stolen a Holden station wagon,’’ he said.
‘‘He was seen by police who attempted to stop him.
‘‘He later attended a Garden Crescent address where the vehicle was located and he was arrested.’’
The man was interviewed at Echuca police station before being charged with robbery, theft and theft of a motor vehicle.
He was remanded in custody overnight to appear at Bendigo Magistrates Court today.
