Police are still investigating the armed robbery and ram raid, which both occurred at Moama Marketplace, as well as the sexual assault in Echuca.
A man pulled a knife on a staff member before fleeing with about $200 worth of alcohol during an armed robbery at BWS at 4.40pm on January 31.
Police released a photo of the man they were looking for in connection with the armed robbery after reviewing CCTV footage.
However, five weeks later and no arrests have been made.
At the time, Murray River Police District Inspector Paul Huggett said there were people who had not come forward to provide evidence or information, which was frustrating for police.
‘‘We get the crime the community condones,’’ he said.
Yesterday, Insp. Huggett said investigations were continuing and the case remained open.
‘‘Police are still following a number of leads,’’ he said.
Just over a week later, during Southern 80 weekend, a woman was sexually assaulted in Goulburn Rd about 3.15am on February 10.
Victoria Police sexual crimes squad quickly launched an investigation and have been appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
They have remain tight-lipped about the assault, saying yesterday ‘‘the investigation remains ongoing at this time’’.
On February 25, criminals used a skid-steer loader to ram raid Moama Marketplace and steal an ATM.
The thieves drove the stolen machine through the front doors of the Perricoota Rd complex about 4.30am and pushed over a freestanding ANZ ATM before loading it onto a truck or ute and taking off.
By that afternoon, police had received information from the Moama community about a suspicious car on Barnes Rd, Moama.
Investigators forensically examined a white 2002 Mitsubishi Triton ute, which is believed to be connected with the ram raid.
Detectives have also viewed CCTV footage, but have not released descriptions of the offenders.
‘‘No charges have been laid and the investigation is continuing,’’ a NSW Police spokesperson said yesterday.
Anyone with information about the Moama incidents is urged to call Deniliquin detectives on 58819299, the sexual assault to 54831500 or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
