Police said that thieves stole a black Toyota Hilux — from the Echuca St carpark behind the Moama Post Office — at 1.45am on Thursday, April 11.
Murray River Police District Inspector Paul Huggett said the vehicle was seen at Bunnings Echuca the next day before being dumped in Blair St on Saturday.
‘‘The rear window was smashed,’’ he said.
A 1993 silver Nissan Patrol wagon was also stolen from an industrial premises in Graham St about 3am on Sunday.
Offenders cut the barbed wire fence to get in before stealing the unregistered vehicle and ramming it through the front entrance gate.
‘‘It was possibly hot-wired,’’ Insp. Huggett said. ‘‘If anyone has any information about any of these thefts, we would urge them to come forward.’’
