Ute and tools stolen from Echuca shed business

ABOUT $35,000 worth of tools and vehicle were stolen from an Echuca shed business early Monday.

Detective Sergeant Troy Wickham of Echuca Criminal Investigation Unit said thieves broke into a shed at the Despatch St premises about 2.30am and stole about $20,000 worth of hand and power tools from several vehicles.

They also stole a white 2005 Holden Rodeo ute, registration TUM401, before fleeing.

Det. Sgt Wickham said police were viewing CCTV footage and making several inquiries.

He encouraged anyone who saw anything suspicious or has seen the vehicle to come forward.
