Vandals smash windows at Echuca shops

"We are reviewing CCTV from the area and it appears the windows were kicked," he said.

However, no entry was gained to the shops.

In another act of vandalism, the heritage-listed water tower south of Echuca’s Loco Shed was recently damaged.

Vandals pulled the fence down and kicked in the door.

The water tower is owned by VicTrack and under lease to VLine, both of whom have been made aware.

Police are appealing to the public for any information into all acts of vandalism.

‘‘We would be seeking any person with any knowledge of the damages to contact police or Crime Stoppers,’’ Sgt Brewis said.
