In conjunction with Echuca Police, the team will set out to make the community safer for the third time this year as they fit vehicles with one-way anti-theft screws.
Neighbourhood Watch Co-Ordinator Len Wills said coming to get your plates done couldn’t be easier.
‘‘People can come and leave their car with us, go in and have a bit of a shop while we sort their plates out,’’ he said.
‘‘We’ve done a lot of these days over the years and we haven’t even scratched the surface.’’
Len said he hopes numbers will be up this time around.
‘‘We’re hoping to get around 80 to 90 Saturday if not more,’’ he said.
The team will be at Echuca Bunnings on Ogilvie Ave from 9am until 2pm Saturday.
‘‘We are available to come and start earlier if needed,’’ Len said.
The Neighbourhood Watch are always looking for new volunteers and any help Saturday would be much appreciated.
Anyone interested in joining the Watch can contact Len on 0418504306.
