MOAMA Anglican Grammar School is giving the next generation of students and parents a taste of what they have to offer.
With the Year 7 Showcase Transition Program they are holding on Friday, June 14 from 1.30-3pm, children will be able to experience what the school is like.
“We provide Year 7, 2020 students with opportunities to develop social relationships within their year level, extend their knowledge about what it will be like to be a Moama Anglican Grammar secondary student and to build their personal confidence,” communication and events officer Chelsea Leslie said.
“For many students, transition from primary to secondary school evokes a variety of emotions, including feeling of excitement and anxiousness.
‘‘For families it is also an exciting and challenging time. Being part of this afternoon can support students to feel confident and comfortable starting high school.’’
While the 2020 Year 7 transition program is being run, parents are invited to enjoy an informal Q and A session with senior staff during this period of time.
These sessions provided will better help new students in learning about their school, its core values and what being a student at Moama Anglican Grammar truly looks like. Sit-in classroom sessions are also available — the perfect environment to ease your child into the exciting year ahead of them.
Moama Anglican Grammar School is also holding transition days for 2020 kindergarten students as well as 2020 Years 1 to 5 transition days.
Sessions dates for 2020 kindergarten students:
Thursday, May 30 9.30-11.10am
