ROCHESTER football legend Bruce Watson has been inducted into the Goulburn Valley League Hall of Fame.
The first Tiger to appear in 300 matches for the club, Watson added the honour to his life memberships of both the club and the the competition.
Watson was inducted into the Hall of Fame— along with seven others — at a ceremony at the Shepparton RSL on Sunday night.
‘‘I feel extremely honoured obviously,’’ Watson said of the accolade.
‘‘(Rochester) has been a huge part of my life, and all of our family as well. Without a doubt (coaching the 1996 under-18s premiership) was a highlight. We’d never won a grand final and to win on that day was just sensational.’’
