Guests were treated to a display of work by students and played games like snakes and ladders and knuckle bones.
Modern games were also on the agenda with plenty of pickup sticks, dominoes, jigsaws, UNO and chess being played.
Guests also heard readings, solved puzzles, coloured and drew and encouraged children to talk about their school lives.
In the library, the special guests enjoyed morning tea provided by school staff and families and shared memories of their school days.
Principal Leo Jones thanked the students, staff and families who supported the two days of activities.
‘‘There was a good roll up for both days and it gave us a chance to update people on all that’s happening at the school,’’ he said.
‘‘The school administration block is reported to be nearing completion after renovation. ‘‘The school office will then be relocated to the new block.
‘‘This will provide space for other school needs in the library area.’’
