Friday of last week eight members enjoyed a nice pleasant day down at Vic Park playing croquet.
We had a couple from Grafton, NSW — Keith and Jan Brodie — join us for the day.
It was decided we would have a pretty casual day, nothing too serious and play King Ball for the first game and two games of doubles.
Jeff Pumpa had all the luck on the day winning all of his games.
Monday of this week saw numbers up a bit with 17 members wanting to enjoy the weather and get in some games of croquet.
Doubles and singles were played with one game of trio. There was some good croquet happening with hoops in one and jump shots being had.
Jenny van der Zande had a great day, lots of luck with the hoops. She won all of her games and being the winner of the day received the Let’s Do Coffee voucher.
Runner-up was John Alstin, two hoops in one Jill Graham and two jumps shots Trevor Peters.
Why not join us at Vic Park and give croquet a try. It really is a fun game. Free lessons are available.
