The Mower juggernaut clicked perfectly into gear on Saturday, claiming a 52-goal win against Numurkah.
The win kept the Magpies in front of arch rivals Echuca United, while also keeping them within striking distance of top side Rumbalara as their round 16 showdown rapidly approaches.
Moama co-coach Alex Daly said the result was not an accurate telling of the result for the day.
“It definitely blew out at the end,” she said.
“For us it felt like a lot closer than it turned out to be on the scoreboard.’’
Daly pinned the team’s success on a full court performance.
“Our goalers were brilliant in the way they played, they locked the ball down and worked incredibly well together,” she said.
“The feed Charlotte (Long) was able to get us out of centre was fantastic, and in defence we were able to put a lot of pressure on the opposition and stop them from scoring.”
For Moama, the opportunity in a fortnight’s time to again face off with Rumbalara — the only side the Magpies have lost to this season — is one the magpies are relishing.
“We need to keep pushing ourselves to get better as the match approaches,” she said.
“There are still elements of our own game we want to work on, particularly our own consistency and being able to produce our best netball across an entire four quarters of a match.”
