The pair will visit the region from Monday, March 18 to Tuesday, March 19, culminating in a Drought Impact Summit on Tuesday, March 19 at Valley Pack in Mooroopna from 9.30am.
Federal Member for Nicholls Damian Drum will travel with the pair, in what will be Mr Littleproud’s fourth visit to the region.
‘‘Many constituents in the farming and agriculture industries are hurting at the moment. In regions like ours, tough times in these industries have a significant flow-on effect in the local economy,’’ Mr Drum said.
‘‘Being able to give members of these industries direct access to the minister for agriculture and water resources and the drought envoy will allow them to highlight the issues in our region, and to explain how they think the government can best help the current situation.’’
