Mulwala 39 defeated by Deniliquin Rams 57
Coming from two losses the Lions had a point to prove - that they were a strong contender.
The girls worked hard against the top team. Tayce had plenty of intercepts in defense with Steph shooting goals and holding everywhere Well done girls.

B Grade
Mulwala 53 defeated by Deni Rams 46.
Everyone put in 100% across the entire court. Each player knew their role and the team played their best for the season.
The goalers were on fire while the defensive pressure all the way down the court resulted in many turnovers and the Lions came away with the win.
Fantastic effort girls, let’s keep it up!

C Grade
Mulwala 41 defeated by Deni Rams 55.
A great effort from C grade girls this week. Deni are a really strong team but the Lions put up a good fight for the whole game.
Well done and thanks for the under 17s Paige and Keely stepping up and playing.

C Reserve
Mulwala 31 defeated by Deni Rams 49.
The C Res started the day with two C Res players and scrambled the U15s and U17s to pull together a team - luckily it didn't take long to get a team.
Absolute credit to all the players - what a super superb job. The coaches appreciated your young fit legs!

Under 17s
Mulwala 20 defeated by Deni Rams 45.
The team came up against a tough opposition this week. The defensive pressure resulted in multiple turnovers, however Deniliquin’s midcourt were very strong.
All girls put in a huge effort and moved the ball well with good leads through the mid court.
A great effort but unfortunately Deni were too good.

Under 15s
Mulwala 14 defeated by Deni Rams 33
The Lions started the game strong and were only a couple of goals down at quarter time.
The defenders worked tirelessly all game – Mila, Ruby T, Grace and Alanna made them work hard for each goal.
Myley and Jem are working well together in goals and hardly missed.
Ruby S and Lily moved the ball around the mid court and made great leads.
Deni were too strong but the Lions put in an awesome effort

Under 13s
Mulwala 28 defeated Deni Rams 15.
Mulwala had a solid game against Deniliquin and secured a good win. Accuracy in attack in the first half saw Mulwala secure a good lead at halftime.
Defensive pressure throughout the game at both ends allowed the Lions to increase their lead 20 to 11 at the end of the third quarter.
The Lions played a physical game in the fourth quarter to take the win.

Under 11s
The girls had a challenging game against Deniliquin. They worked hard in all different positions they played. A few errors and some skills to practice for next week. But the team has come so far since the start of the season.
