The local share market is bouncing back from days of heavy losses, gaining across the board along with its US counterparts following the Bank of England's emergency intervention to calm bond markets.

The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index on Thursday closed up 93 points to 6555, a gain of 1.44 per cent. The broader All Ordinaries rose 100.8 points, or 1.51 per cent, to 6760.6.
The Australian dollar also rebounded after on Wednesday dipping below 64 US cents for the first time since April 2020.
The Aussie dollar was buying 64.59 US cents, from 63.79 US cents at Wednesday's close.
