Magistrate Dr Michael King asked Walker whether she wanted to withdraw her application.
"That's right," she said.
Dr King asked Walker's lawyer Kate Freshwater whether there were any custody issues to which Ms Freshwater replied this was Walker's first time in custody.
Walker has been remanded in custody and will appear in Bendigo Magistrates Court on June 12 for a committal mention.
UPDATE 11:12AM: Tania Walker has withdrawn her bail application but will be appearing via videolink for a filing hearing soon.
Homicide Squad detectives have made a breakthrough in their cold case investigation into the 2008 death of 23-month-old Angela Bannister following the arrest of her mother, Tania walker and her lover Daniel Simmons in Echuca today.
Lawyer Kate Freshwater represented Walker in Echuca Magistrates Court yesterday, saying her client wished to make a bail application herself.
However, magistrate Michael King said there was no capacity to hear a bail application at 4pm, so he rolled it over to Bendigo Magistrates Court today.
Simmons was remanded in custody to appear in Bendigo Magistrates Court on June 12.
