During the school holidays, children aged four to 14 have had the opportunity to take part in Skillzone’s school holiday program.
From bubble soccer to Nerf wars, the full-day and half-day sessions have been filled with smiles and laughter.
Skillzone owner and operator Adam Gatcum said the sessions aimed to give regional children the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports.
“It’s about increasing participation in sport and trying new sports that are a bit different to your normal soccer, netball or football and making them accessible for local families,” Mr Gatcum said.
“It’s so important, especially these school holidays, because kids have been cooped up for a long time.
“So, it’s lovely to be able to reunite them with their friends, get them active, get them out of the house and most importantly having fun,” he said.
Skillzone operates in a variety of other locations including Yarrawonga and offers a range of different programs such as after-school activities and birthday parties.
