Murray Irrigation Limited has confirmed nominations to fill three Shareholder Director vacancies have now closed, with five applications received.
Shareholders will be able to vote for their preferred nominees from October, with voting set to close at the end of that month.
The elected candidates, who must be Murray Irrigation shareholders, will serve a term of up to four years from the conclusion of the 2019 annual general meeting which is scheduled to be held on November 28.
Shareholders are encouraged to vote for their preferred nominee or to lodge a proxy form to ensure their vote is included.
Directors will play an important role in the oversight and strategic direction of Murray Irrigation, supported by the organisation’s executive team and skilled employees.
Further information on voting process and candidates will be released by MIL next week. The names of the five candidates were not available yesterday.
