SCHOOL will look a little different this term, but school speed zones remain the same across Victoria to protect students who still need to travel to and from school.
From Tuesday, a reduced speed limit applies on weekdays within school zones during term time.
School speed zone limits and operating times vary, so drivers are reminded to obey nearby road signs.
All school bus services will operate as normal to help students who cannot study at home get to and from school.
Regular public transport services are also available to students who need to travel.
Passengers should practice physical distancing and good hand hygiene when travelling on trains and buses to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Students are reminded to stay home if they feel unwell.
These measures will ensure any student who must travel to school can do so safely.
