After losing last season's Kyabram District League decider against Nagambie, the Lions are now just one win away from completing the perfect season.
With Nagambie sliding down the ladder in 2019, Stanhope have made the most of their opportunity to take over as the KDL's premier side.
Now they must defeat Dookie United for the third time this year to finish the season as premiers and champions.
"We couldn't dwell on the past, so we've gone out and done our best this year," coach Kerrie Gray said.
"We’ve got a good group of girls who are prepared to do the hard work which is required to have success.
"They enjoy being around each other and have a lot of fun together which is important in building the team.
"A premiership would be the cherry on top for a great season."
On paper, previous results point to an easy Stanhope win after the Lions cruised to through to the grand final with a 37-goal thumping in the second semi-final.
"Obviously it was great to get the win but I think every final is a new day in the sense anything is possible," Gray said.
"We’re going to take Dookie on in the same manner that we did in the first final.
"Stranger things have happened in finals so our focus will be on putting together four good quarters of netball."
While Gray said it will take a team effort to come away with the win, the combination of goal shooter Chicky Barr and mid-court sensation Abbey Green could prove to be the difference.
"They’ve (Chicky and Abbey) got a really good connection," Gray said.
"The beauty with our team is that we’ve got a lot of quiet achievers to get the job done when others are down.
"Although Chicky and Abbey have continually proved their worth we've found that we can rely on anyone who is on the court."
