Qld cops probe woman's suspicious death

No arrests have been made but police are speaking with a man they say dropped the deceased woman off.

Investigations led officers to an address at Dicky Beach, near Caloundra, where a crime scene has been declared.

"We have a number of people that we're trying to identify and interview, and when we have more information we'll have a ... better picture of what's taken place," Detective Inspector David Drinnen said on Friday.

The cause of death is yet to be determined and the woman has not been formally identified but officers believe she lived in the area.
