Held at the Kyabram Town Hall this year, the annual event saw CWA members from across Victoria converge on the district to showcase their skills in art, craft, cooking and floral art.
This year there were more than 1600 entries in all sections.
Campaspe CWA branch member Sally Bogie said the standard was very high, encouraging members to do their best.
"The talent of the members is extraordinary. You're competing against the most amazing crafters and cooks," she said.
Echuca group, which now only has six branches were well represented in all sections.
Delia Currie, Gwen McDonald, Nancy McDonald, Echuca/Murray; Liz McDonald, Boobook (Deniliquin), Margaret Davis, Bamawm and Sally Bogie from the Campaspe Branch were among the prize winners.
Congratulations to all and Echuca Group should be very proud of their efforts.
The group entry theme for this year was faces for the craft and flavours of Australia for the cooking.
Many and varied ideas came to the fore with some beautiful entries. Echuca Group scored 80 per cent for the cooking entry and 79 per cent for the craft entry.
Thank you to all Branches for contributing to the group entries.
"Congratulations to Goulburn Valley West group for hosting such a great exhibition, so much hard work between the creative arts committee, Melbourne and the host group for making this exhibition such a success," Sally said.
We are all looking forward to the state Exhibition to be held at Ararat in 2020.
