As in previous years, the residents of the Illawarra neighbourhood decorated their homes with lights, Santa, reindeer and of course Christmas spirit.
And again this year's display didn't disappoint, with delightful reports coming back from many visitors and children in particular.
The collection on the corner of Illawarra Dve and Butcher St was again run by Echuca Lions Club with assistance from local residents Greg and Helen Taylor, Echuca Scout Group, Echuca CWA and students from St Joseph's College.
Total funds raised for this year was $4812 which brings the total over the 11 years to more than $40 000.
A quarter ($1203) of the funds will go to each of the participants who assisted.
A sum of $2460 will be used in conjunction with a project of Moama Lions Club to buy hay bales to assist farmers affected by drought and bushfires.
Echuca Lions Club would like to thank the Illawarra residents who participated and First National Real Estate Charles L King and Co Echuca, which sponsored the event.
