Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the choir decided it would be in the public's best interest to call off their performance at this point in time.
“Obviously we're disappointed, but it's what we have to do,” choir member Ken McMullan said.
“As our audience would predominantly be the older generations, and those most at risk at this time, we wanted to put public safety first.”
But the group ishoping to come back to the twin towns later in the year.
“We're not sure how long it will take before it will be okay to perform, but we will definitely look at coming back later on,” Mr McMullan said.
The group is hoping for a date in October to reschedule, but circumstances may change.
