All clients must phone ahead and will be asked a series of questions to screen whether they may have the virus.
If they are considered suitable for a coronavirus test, they will be advised what to do next, otherwise they will be given an appointment time with the community health nurse.
The morning drop-in service will not be available for the time being.
The Pyramid Hill clinic will be available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Quambatook on Tuesday and Friday.
NDCH chief executive Mandy Hutchinson said the changes are designed to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus for the community, clients and nurses.
“We have to do what we can, every day, to protect everyone, but especially older people or people with chronic health issues,” she said.
Despite the changes, people are encouraged to access their GPs they normally would for other health concerns.
“Although coronavirus is happening, people still have other health issues that need attention in a timely manner, so please don't delay seeking help for other concerns, especially if they are urgent,” Ms Hutchinson said.
