Under the cover of darkness they have popped up outside SNAP gymnasium in Annesley St and the Riverine Herald office in Percy St.
There will be more done and we thank the people who sent us these images.
No-one knows who is behind the group, their only public contact has been a phone call to the Riv on a blocked number to call on everyone in the twin towns to get behind their campaign – which started overnight Friday.
Insisting on anonymity so the emphasis is on their message, the organiser of group said the 18 members of the team had been encouraged by the early response to their first chalk messages – outside Big W, Aldi and BYL.
“We just don’t need any more negativity and scaredness, we are all in this together now and that’s how we will get out of it,” she said.
#THEKINDNESSCONTAGION will continue its campaign of inspiration, kindness and hope and is asking everyone who sees and reads their messages to share them with as many people as they can.
