By Riverine Herald

THE Cohuna AP&H Society is excited to announce they have secured federal funding to replace the aged Morton Garner Pavilion.

The replacement will be more than just a pavilion; it will be a great asset for the broader community of Cohuna, providing indoor/outdoor entertainment space suitable for a wide variety of functions and events, in a beautiful natural location.

President Graeme Peace said the new pavilion will be an asset to the Show and the community and looks forward to the 2022 show and viewing the pavilion entries showcasing local talent.

The Show Society is pleased to be partnering with the Gannawarra Shire Council on this project.

Gannawarra Shire Council Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said “Council congratulates the Cohuna Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Society on successfully applying for this funding from the Federal Government”

“Council is delighted to be supporting this project financially, which builds upon the significant investment occurring throughout the Cohuna Recreation Reserve precinct.”
