Boy dies in Moama motorbike crash

A boy has died after crashing a motorcycle into a tree on a private property yesterday.

About 3pm July 4 an 11-year-old boy was riding a dirt bike on a property at Nineteen Mile Road, Moama, and hit a tree.

He was treated by Victoria Ambulance Paramedics and flown to Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, where he later died.

Officers from Murray River Police District have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the Victorian Coroner.
