John Ryan, Matthew Binks and Joy Hooper have won $1000, $500 and $250, respectively, for shopping at participating stores in Echuca-Moama.
Riverine Herald advertising manager Kristy Hayes said the promotion highlighted the importance of keeping the local economy going.
“We want to thank Forty Winks, all participating businesses and everyone who has been shopping locally and entering the draw,” she said.
“Now, more than ever, it’s important to shop local and support the businesses in our towns that in turn support our community.”
With more than $3500 in gift cards still up for grabs, Ms Hayes encouraged everyone to support the local economy.
“And all these winners had to do was shop at a participating business and fill out an entry form. It’s that simple,” Ms Hayes said.
It is the eighth year of the Forty Winks Shop Local and Win promotion, with 23 participating businesses in the twin towns.
