The event, which will raise money for the Cancer Council, will be hosted by the Hunters Haven Op Shop as well as the Community Op Shop.
It will mark the fifth year the two shops have organised this event.
“Every year the event gets bigger,” Hunters Haven Op Shop manager Vivian Danaher said.
“It’s an opportunity for people to catch up whilst raising money for the Cancer Council.”
This year, more than 200 guests are expected to attend the event, which will be held from 10am to 1pm at the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall.
“We will be handing around sandwiches, scones, slices, savouries and some hot food as well,” Ms Danaher said.
“Tea and coffee will also be available as well.”
All the food and drink have been donated by volunteers, as well as the raffle prizes and other items that can be bought on the day.
Ray McCartney will be performing on the day, as well as a demonstration from the Tai Chi group, with a group of line dancers topping off the morning.
This year, the morning tea will feature a plants table, where guests can buy a range of plants for their home, with the proceeds going to the Cancer Council.
Entry for the event will be $10 and the funds raised at the event will provide support for people who suffer from cancer.
The proceeds will also go to supporting their families, as well as the Cancer Council Hotline and education for schools, kindergartens and health professionals.
Last year, the Cancer Council raised more than $10 million from the Biggest Morning Tea, with over 20,000 people hosting an event.
Since 1980, the survival rate for those affected by cancer has risen from 49 per cent to 69 per cent, thanks to cancer research and funding.
Tickets can be bought on the day, with the event running from 10am to 1pm at Tocumwal’s War Memorial Hall.
